• Direct Heat - Avoid putting ceramics on direct heat, such as stovetops or open flame.
• Cooking - When cooking, do not put frozen food directly in the dish without a liquid to cover the bottom.
• Thermal Shock - Sudden drastic changes in heat can cause pottery to crack. Heating: Do not place a cold dish directly from the fridge into a hot oven, allow it to reach room temperature first. Cooling: Never place a hot dish directly into cold water, cold wet surface, or cold area.
